A practicing veterinary technician for over 17 years as well as a certified behavior consultant for over 9 years, specializing in aggression and reactivity, I believe that no dog is too far gone to change behavior. I practice and advise positive methods to change unwanted behaviors, and strongly recommend punishment and forceful corrections be removed from dog handling/training and behavior. I have earned 4 certifications in canine behavior from the Animal Behavior Institute and E-training for dogs and continue to further my education in behavior as well as current pharmacology recommendations with over 200 hours of continuing education to date.
When you live a busy life, it is hard to consistently provide the attention and training necessary to change a behavior. I offer daily sessions when needed to help clients work through problems as quickly as possible.
I believe dogs thrive off of human connection and positive interaction, and would love to add that to every dogs life. Behavior problems are frustrating, and I am here to help owners create a plan to work through their dog's behavior problems with attainable goals, and real world problem solving.
